Dr. Lindsey Schimp Morris 

General Dentist

Dr. Lindsey Schimp Morris graduated from Vicksburg High School in 2008. She received her Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She then attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore, MD. She graduated in 2016 in the top 10 percent of her class as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She was the recipient of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology award and the University of Maryland Community Service Award.


After graduating dental school, Dr. Lindsey went on to complete a one-year Advance Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where she rotated through general, pediatric, and oral surgery dental clinics. She then returned home to Kalamazoo and joined Schimp Family Dentistry in 2017.


Dr. Lindsey believes that continuing education is critical to the practice of dentistry and is committed to providing exceptional care to her patients. She is a member of the Michigan Dental Association, American Dental Society, and is currently the Kalamazoo Valley Dental Society vice president. She enjoys all aspects of adult and pediatric dentistry and above all creating long-lasting relationships with her patients.


Dr. Lindsey lives on Indian Lake with her husband Matt. She enjoys snow and water skiing, biking, reading, golf, and traveling. Dr. Lindsey and Matt welcomed their daughter Murphy in January of 2022 and are enjoying watching her grow and explore the world!

Dr. Jeffrey Schimp

General Dentist

Dr. Jeffrey Schimp graduated from Vicksburg High School in 1973. He studied at Central Michigan University in Biology and Chemistry. After graduation, he went to the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and graduated in 1982.
 
Later, he worked at Kalamazoo Valley Community College and then joined the dental practice of Dr. Frederick Edison in 1983. After Dr. Edison retired, Dr. Schimp built a solid reputation for himself and has enjoyed the long-term relationships he has formed with his patients in Kalamazoo and the surrounding areas.
 
Throughout his career, Dr. Schimp has been the president of the Indian Lake Association and a member of the Vicksburg Community Schools Foundation. He is a past president and Lion of the year for the Downtown Kalamazoo Lions Club. He is a member of the Michigan Dental Association, American Dental Society, Kalamazoo Valley Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society.
 
During his growing spare time, Dr. Schimp loves to do woodworking, ski, fish, golf, and garden. He and his wife Darci enjoy traveling and spending time in Northern Michigan. He never sits still! In 2022 Dr. Schimp took on a new role as Grandpa and enjoys spending time with his granddaughter Murphy. His new role as “Pepe” may be his most favorite yet! Dr. Schimp has enjoyed working alongside his daughter and is proud to have her in the office providing excellent care to our patients.
